Hiring in the financial services sector has reached its lowest rate since 2011, suggesting that enterprise AI may be starting to displace white-collar roles like banking analysts. Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, warned on CNN that AI could eliminate half of all entry-level white-collar jobs and lead to 20% unemployment within five years. While he acknowledged the potential for medical breakthroughs, he cautioned that the current technological shift is moving too fast for traditional labor market adaptation.
