NYPD Links Luigi Mangione to UnitedHealthcare CEO Assassination via Forensic Evidence
The NYPD has announced that forensic evidence, including fingerprints found on a water bottle and a Kind bar, links suspect Luigi Mangione to the scene where UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was murdered. Investigators also recovered a "ghost gun" and a cell phone in an alley near the Midtown Manhattan hotel where the shooting occurred. Mangione, an Ivy League graduate, was arrested in Pennsylvania and is currently fighting extradition to New York while his attorney plans a not guilty plea.
