Okay, well, let's start with the media shooting round. Now this is a guy called Stormin Norman, who is a well-known TikToker. And I thought he wrapped up the media coverage pretty well. Today, several of the liberal outlets made the choice to display absolute degeneracy when covering Trump's attempted assassination in Pennsylvania. Now, not all of the left-leaning outlets did this. ABC News, CBS, NBC News and others reported correctly, along with center, independent and right-leaning sources, that Trump was shot and Secret Service removed him immediately. Yet, CNN and others decided to go in a different direction. CNN wrote, Secret Service rushes Trump off stage after he falls at rally.

03:29 The Indy Star and other USA Today outlets said Trump removed from stage by Secret Service after loud noises startles former president. The Washington Post wrote, Trump taken away after loud noises at rally. Very specific that. Politico decided to kick it up a notch by writing, photo of bloodied Trump fist bumping immediately spotlighted by his allies. Newsweek wrote an incredible headline that has since been deleted. MAGA responds with outrage after Donald Trump injured at Pennsylvania rally. Yes, that's the story. Conservatives pounce on the former president's attempted assassination. Now, not to be outdone, Colorado Democrat and state representative Steve Wood decided now was the right time to tweet. The last thing America needed was sympathy for the devil. But here we are.

Like I said, I can tell you actual quotes. The Secret Service directors completely failed and candidly should resign today. Kim Cheadle has failed Donald Trump and honestly failed Joe Biden too. He's the president right now. Where's the DHS secretary? I mean, this is, you're blaming it on manpower? Yes. You could blame it on woman power because here's the CBS report. This is... Oh yeah, and this just aired, didn't it? Didn't this just air like a week ago or so? I think it's older than that. This is the head of Secret Service CBS. Okay. To expand hiring, they're aiming to have 30% women recruits by 2030 and even allowed YouTube influencer Michelle Khare to train with ages.

I think we have to make sure that we are assessing the risk for both of those as well as any other type of threat that may come at us, whether it's a lone gunman or an organized attack or an organized group. So we try to cover off on that. And how does the current divisions in the country, the extreme political polarization, how does that feed in? to the threat environment? I think it plays into it. I think that the environment that we're dealing with today is certainly different than it was four years ago. I'm sure we'll see an evolution in the next four years as well, but it is definitely something that we take into consideration. Are there any specific incredible threats out there right now? So there's nothing specific and nothing credible out there right now, but we are tracking all threat streams and we certainly work with our partners at the FBI and other intelligence agencies that supply that information to us.

But all the, the desensitization towards this type of rhetoric is, of course, a problem.

And this is this, she seems like she has grayish silver hair. I don't think, she's probably in her 40s. She's on TikTok and I've seen her before. She's actually has reasonable audio and has pretty good diction. So it was worth, it's long, but we can stop at anywhere. But it's interesting how she just brings back all these things.

I find this interesting because she is making a summation of things that have been memed and that also everyone's desensitized to.

Paul Gosar posting an animated video depicting him unaliving AOC. I remembered the far-right's violence against minority communities in Charleston, Pittsburgh, El Paso, Buffalo, Jacksonville, etc, etc. I have, yeah.

These are all Republicans are getting shot at. Steve Scalise and 12 other Republicans, there was an assassination attempt on them and Scalise was almost killed. And now we have this. I mean, given the usually ironclad security around these sorts of events? Well, as someone who goes to these kind of events somewhat regularly, it is kind of fascinating to me that something like this could have happened. Now it must be said the shooting took place from outside of the security cordon around the venue so he hadn't managed to get this weapon inside the venue but I think that also raises even more questions because that means that there was an unsecured roof with a direct line of sight to the stage where the former president was talking within 150 meters

Now, that is important because for reference, 150 meters is the distance that an army soldier needs to be able to shoot a human-sized target at with an M16 rifle in order to pass their training. The AR-15 is the civilian version of that M16 rifle. So the fact that this roof was within that distance and not secured by the Secret Service really is quite mesmerizing and has led a lot of people to believe that there was a lapse in security here. So there will be investigations. We know that the House Oversight Committee has asked the head of the Secret Service, invited them to come and talk to the panel to see how this could have happened. Yeah, that'll be some nice talking. Oh, we'll just be chatting with you.

The counter snipers that were at the rally spotted this shooter and did neutralise the threat within three seconds of those shots being fired. So a quick response by the counter snipers but questions as to how he got on that roof with the gun in the first place still abound. So just from what we know now, it seems like that roof was an obvious problem. It seems like there was understaffing. There's all kinds of reporting that they had asked that the Secret Service had asked for more team members. They were denied. We'll find out, I guess, in the chat they're going to have in the house. I'm standing there pointing at him for, you know, two, three minutes. Secret Service is looking at us from the top of the barn. I'm pointing at that roof, just standing there like this.

I wouldn't know, you know, I wasn't close enough to read the label on it. But a high-velocity weapon? It was a rifle of some sort. Yeah, absolutely. So, how do you process what you've just seen?

He had just showed up at the Trump rally just a short time before it started and he actually tells me that he saw the shooter on the building and his name is Benjamin Macer. Last year, the US Department of Homeland Security warned of a high threat of violence from radicalized individuals, lone offenders, or small group attacks that occur with little warning, and said that the 2024 election cycle will be, quote, a key event for possible violence, unquote.
