Wuhan Coronavirus Outbreak, Media Coverage Skepticism
The initial reports of the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak are analyzed through clips from ABC News and PBS. ABC News is criticized for providing information-free reports focused on face mask shortages in Seattle, Chicago, and Los Angeles, while PBS is noted for downplaying the threat compared to the seasonal flu. The discussion highlights the lack of reporting on the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the use of negative pressure rooms in New York hospitals.
