The Vapor Technology Association warns that banning flavored e-liquids will result in the loss of approximately 166,000 jobs and the closure of 12,000 retail shops. Most vaping hardware is manufactured in China, and there is little evidence of domestic production for these devices. Experts suggest the ban may drive consumers back to traditional cigarettes or the black market.
