Apple announced "PQ3," a new post-quantum cryptographic protocol for iMessage designed to protect against "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks. While Apple claims this reaches "Level 3" security, skeptics suggest the new protocol might actually provide a backdoor for the national security state.
