Mickey Dolenz, the last surviving member of The Monkees, is suing the Department of Justice to obtain the band's full FBI files. Existing redacted files suggest the FBI monitored the group in the 1960s due to allegations that they used subliminal messages associated with left-wing politics during their live performances.
