Ksenia Karelina, a 33-year-old dual Russian-American national and ballerina living in Los Angeles, was detained in Russia on suspicion of treason. She is accused of donating approximately $51 to a Ukrainian support fund. The U.S. State Department has issued warnings for all American citizens to leave Russia immediately following her arrest and the death of Alexei Navalny.
