Corey Patterson, a 29-year-old aircraft maintenance employee, stole a Beechcraft King Air C90 and threatened to crash it into a Walmart in Tupelo, Mississippi. After circling the area for five hours and posting a goodbye message on Facebook, Patterson eventually landed the twin-engine plane in a field and was taken into custody. Investigators are looking into his motives and how he managed to operate the complex aircraft without formal flight training.
