Captain Craig Linnell, 60, died mid-flight during a Continental Airlines trip from Brussels to Newark. A cardiologist on board responded to the emergency, but the pilot was found dead in the cockpit. The flight landed safely under the control of the co-pilot, with passengers only learning of the death after arrival.
