European Vaccine Shortfalls, Storage Temperature Errors
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has approved new production sites in Germany and the Netherlands to address vaccine shortfalls. An NPR report erroneously claimed that vaccines could be stored at "lower" temperatures to aid distribution, when in fact the regulation allowed for "higher" (warmer) temperatures in standard pharmaceutical freezers for short periods.
