US Navy Baltops Exercises, Bornholm Underwater Explosives
Questions regarding the Nord Stream sabotage have highlighted NATO's "Baltops" exercises held in June 2022 near Bornholm, Denmark. During these operations, the US Navy Sixth Fleet experimented with underwater explosives and ordnance removal in the same vicinity where the pipeline leaks were later detected.
