British Prime Minister Boris Johnson made an unannounced visit to Kyiv to pledge military and financial aid to President Zelensky. Other leaders, including Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, also traveled to the capital. Johnson promised to send armored vehicles and anti-ship missile systems to counter the Russian naval presence in the Black Sea.
