Boeing Manufacturing Issues and United Airlines Losses
United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby expressed disappointment with Boeing following the grounding of the 737 MAX 9 fleet due to a door plug failure on an Alaska Air flight. United expects a significant first-quarter loss as a result of the groundings and is considering purchasing aircraft from Airbus in the future.
