Singapore TraceTogether App, Bluetooth Contact Tracing
Singapore has launched the TraceTogether app, which uses Bluetooth signals to log proximity between users without collecting geolocation data. If a user tests positive for COVID-19, contact tracers use the encrypted, anonymized IDs stored on the phone to notify others who may have been exposed.
