Hong Kong implements mandatory monitoring bracelets for residents and visitors arriving at the airport to enforce 14-day quarantines. The tamper-resistant wristbands, developed by a Vancouver company called TraceSafe, use Bluetooth to alert authorities if a person leaves their home. Failure to comply can result in six months of imprisonment.
