A cocaine vaccine known as TACD is undergoing testing to prevent the drug from entering the brain and producing a high. While the vaccine successfully blocks the euphoric effects, it does not eliminate the user's cravings for the substance. Clinical observations show that some participants attempted to override the vaccine by consuming ten times their usual dose, significantly increasing the risk of overdose.
