Iraqi national Mohammed Al-Sadi was extradited from Turkey to New York to face charges for orchestrating terror plots against Jewish targets in New York, Los Angeles, and Arizona. Prosecutors allege Al-Sadi is a commander in Katai Hezbollah and was communicating with an undercover FBI officer, even sending a $3,000 down payment in cryptocurrency. Al-Sadi's defense claims the prosecution is political due to his ties to the late Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.
