The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova. They are accused of the war crime of unlawful deportation of children from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation. While Russia and the United States do not recognize the ICC's jurisdiction, the warrant restricts Putin's travel to 123 signatory countries.
