Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor of The Nation, accused the Clinton campaign of using "new McCarthyism" to silence those calling for a better relationship with Russia. In a separate news item, the FDA announced a ban on 19 chemicals commonly found in antibacterial soaps, such as triclosan.
