Scientists are developing a new blood test to identify "long-haul" COVID syndrome by looking for "auto-antibodies" that attack healthy cells. Concurrently, David Bauer of the Francis Crick Institute reported that Pfizer vaccine recipients have lower levels of neutralizing antibodies against variants. This data is being used to justify the upcoming rollout of booster shots for older populations.
