The 19th edition of GLAAD's "Where We Are on TV" report found a significant decrease in LGBTQ characters on scripted television, dropping from 139 to 77. The report also tracked "Characters of Color" (COC) and transgender representation. The decline is attributed to the cancellation of several shows that featured diverse casts.
