About this episode

The Massachusetts state legislature is advancing pandemic response bills that grant officials the power to enter private residences without consent for mandatory vaccinations and quarantine enforcement. Adam Curry and John C. Dvorak analyze how Presidential Directive 51 and Homeland Security protocols could reclassify public demonstrations as low-level terrorism during a declared health emergency. These developments coincide with the USDA approving the first H3N8 dog flu vaccine, a move the hosts suggest targets the very pets that might defend a home from government intrusion.

Barbara Loe Fisher of the National Vaccine Information Center warns that the CDC and FDA are utilizing post-9/11 emergency powers to fast-track experimental H1N1 swine flu vaccines. While the White House Press Corps, led by Helen Thomas and Chip Reid, challenges Press Secretary Robert Gibbs over scripted town hall meetings, British Petroleum and China have secured $1.7 trillion in oil development rights for the Rumalia field in Iraq. Meanwhile, Congressman Henry Waxman faces scrutiny after a documentary clip revealed his confusion regarding federal steroid and alcohol laws during a formal hearing. Technical analysis of recent Airbus crashes involving Air France and Yemenia Airways suggests potential electromagnetic pulse interference, as Bahia Bakari reported an electric shock sensation before her plane went down.

John C. Dvorak recounts the evolution of Mixed Martial Arts from the Tokyo Dome to modern cage fighting while Adam Curry details the invasive surveillance of Dutch media stringers at his San Francisco home. The duo explores the vulnerability of the Chicago power grid to EMP attacks and the rise of edge technology protocols that cause consumer routers to fail. The episode concludes with a recorded legal confrontation where an Arkansas Health Department official asserts that citizens have no constitutional right to refuse a mandatory vaccination.

CHAPTER 01 / 20 Discussion

Dutch Media Coverage, Adam Curry's San Francisco Residence

Adam Curry and John C. Dvorak discuss recent Dutch media reports detailing Curry's new residence in San Francisco. The reports included photographs of the building's exterior and interior, along with specific rental price estimates. Curry expresses concern over the invasive nature of the coverage, noting that photographers even entered his private garage to take pictures of personal notes left for neighbors.

00:02 Adam Curry, John C. Dvorak Ah! It's the 2nd of July 2009th and it is time for your Gitmo Nation audio publication episode 109 This Is No Agenda Coming to you from the undisclosed loft location in San Francisco, Gitmo Nation West on the Death Star limiting internet connection I'm Adam Curry And from Northern Silicon Valley in a, probably location you could figure out. But if you were Dutch you could figure out Adam's place too I'm John C. Dvorak I don't know. Because i can assure you that I didn't tell anybody no, no there was a couple of things that were interesting and what we're talking about let's give the people the background yeah The background is that um...the dutch press both in a magazine and on television uh... spoke about the new love nest That Adam and Mickey are staying in San Francisco They had Love Nest

01:14 and they had pictures of the outside, they had the exact amount we're paying in rent a month which was rather interesting. And that led me to a number... actually it was close enough though And then they had pictures on the inside, but what was pretty funny is I guess they got pictures from a website or some other brochure because there's multiple units in this building. Luckily they got the one in the top floor which I think cost $17,000 a month in rent so it looked like we have quite a love nest indeed! Yeah, no kidding! It looks awesome and I'm like yay please think that of me

01:53 But what was it? Did they figure out that you're actually on the ground floor. Shut up John What was disturbing though is I was moving remember that Friday, I was moving in or maybe don't remember And but someone was parking in our spot in the garage. Let me get this straight You say you were moving in Well yeah, I was moving our suitcases from the hotel to... A suitcase? No man. They were like-I didn't pack everything up so i just got some wardrobe boxes and a U-Haul you know real American style And someone had been parking in our spot of course because the unit had been empty for awhile So people then just take up your spot it's kind of the American way and as I put a nice little note on it saying hey we're moving in today

02:42 uh... so you can park your anymore smiley face signed adam yes you send it gino that they took a picture of that so the entered the garage which is not just enter and they took a picture of that and publish them as well we can't ignore open his walk in with their still i mean that's that's kind of a violation i think i'm actually amazed at what he is going to make these guys have that kind of you know they did there because that they'd go that far. I mean it seems to me that if these journalists or writers... No, no, no! I would say these are not journalists. Well, you know what? But at least they put some effort into figuring out what was going on with the swine flu vaccine. Yeah thank you

CHAPTER 02 / 20 Discussion

Professional Stringers, Constant Surveillance Concerns

The discussion shifts to the prevalence of amateur and professional stringers who follow public figures in San Francisco. Curry describes the discomfort of being followed by individuals with cameras, specifically mentioning an incident where his partner, Micky, felt pursued on the street. They note that even mundane activities, like moving furniture with the help of local cage fighters, are captured and sold to the press.

surveillance· stringers· paparazzi· san francisco· privacy· cameras

03:30 Don't you think it would benefit the public? No offense to you. I understand what your saying Who cares! They've already got you all covered, what difference does it make if they have another picture of a note when you could be fine... You're going put that much effort into it and I just don't get it well there's good stuff out there to be all you know it should be did be dug up if he put a little work into it and now they'd rather you look for somebody said your handwritten note that justin for a lot of right on your soul right in fact uh... I will say that in the 35 minutes of preparation, I do for this show. You know, I get up around 630 and have breakfast around 7-7 30 quarter to 8 you know i'm kind of prepping like all I have to do is just go through the list of emails and I know everything about the forced vaccinations decode read the CDC's calling for and of course said this one flu which is going to kill us all and I know that in thirty five minutes these guys actually have to send someone to San Francisco

04:29 8,000 kilometer journey. There must be a stringer out here that does this stuff? You know what it's it's a little more frightening than that because Of course everyone today is a stringer and anyone who has a camera, anyone as a video camera. And we are being followed constantly by people it's it's a little annoying I have to say yeah well you know particularly for a woman alone if Mickey's walking around on the street and she feels these guys walking behind her you know that she turns and she sees him taking pictures of her you know now she could of course beat the crap out of any guy I'm pretty convinced But still, it's a... That's the shot you want to get though. Well that's the one we're going have you take so that you can make some real money. Yesterday were taking pictures of me and four burly men hoisting a nine-foot tabletop up over the balcony And those are available for sale at any Dutch press that wants to get hold of them. Johnatdvorak.org I also have a movie for you if you want to pay for that. Two of those guys are cage fighters?

05:33 Oh, really? Yeah and they have cage matches some place on Folsom. They're gonna send me an invite I'll go watch that! I'll go watch a local cage fight match. Those guys seem like the typical nice guys who like to fight And it's always good for them to be my friends Exactly. The kind of guys you want to have as friends in a bar. Yeah, fantastic! I'd go to see a cage local one that's because these guys are obviously amateurs i didn't know there was that many levels of cage fighting that you would have amateur areas? Well it is and the only difference between professional and amateur is there aren't any head shots so you can kick and punch and do everything below the chin

CHAPTER 03 / 20 Discussion

Mixed Martial Arts, Evolution of Cage Fighting Rules

John C. Dvorak provides a historical overview of the evolution of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and ultimate fighting. He explains how the sport began as a way to test different martial arts schools against one another before rules were implemented to prevent serious injury. The narrative covers the impact of Greco-Roman wrestlers on the sport's dynamics and the massive popularity of MMA in Japan, specifically at the Tokyo Dome.

mma· cage fighting· martial arts· greco-roman wrestling· tokyo dome· rules

06:19 You know, I've been... Did I mention this before? I used to you know. Wait a minute! Don't tell me you were a cage fighter John. When i was a kid.... In fact, I look exactly like one. So uh.. Sorry about that. You do look like a cage fighter. Yeah, washed up one so um when the cage fighting or the ultimate fighting it used to be called first began they've changed the rules so much that i think it's been this is somewhat watered down he began originally as a some guys idea did to test the various martial arts uh... schools was mostly accommodation right of karate kung fu no actually richly wasn't it was supposed to be you can put a karate guy at the brazilian karate gap against a korean or a bridge you know korean karate guy rd chinese cry guy against us jiu-jitsu guy gets all these different

07:12 schools of the martial arts. Oh, okay. To prove that one's best? Right I got you okay it makes sense yeah And it started with no rules in other words you could do whatever you wanted and so a couple things happened one of them is that the new rules thing turned out to be kind of problematic because what they saw was these matches People were like dying weren't they No well it was more like this first you find some way to knock the guy down and once you got him down then you get in some position where he just pound his balls as hard as you can over and over again with all full force. The guy is down on his... Once, he cant move because its paralyzing

07:55 Oh man. And so this is what there's an early K ultimate fight I'm watching this thing and going my god, how did it? What what is this? And this guy just pound pound pound Just giving it to this guy and then of course they stopped imagine This guy couldn't get up for an hour two hits through the groin and you'll never have kids So they started to say, well maybe we should change some rules because more than one or two guys started doing this. It's pretty effective! So there goes the rules and then I think this was made around 1999 or so all of a sudden this one guy came through the ranks not that I really follow it that closely but its not really a difficult sport to follow

08:40 Some guy came through the ranks who was Greco-Roman wrestling. And this is not really what they wanted for martial arts, you know? But this guy... Once he got you down, you were doomed! There was nothing that could do it because he knew all these crazy moves that he'd get you and then they always ended up in a choke hold which is specific hole that cuts the blood supply to the brain actually knocks you out. Yeah isn't that the definition of choking Well, choking is to stop you from breathing I think. But it's beside the point. The point is that there was this Greco-Roman guy who was beating everybody because of his karate stance and he just dived for his legs, guy goes down, boom! Matches over So they said, you know... It sucks, the match has gotta be longer

09:31 Yeah, they got really boring with this Greco-Roman guys and it was like changing the whole idea of martial arts mixed martial arts MMA. They like to call it and so then they changed the rules again And now they got it So it's kind of you know It's fairly interesting but it you know real fans of people beat each other up still see what you know the boxing is really a great sport although the ultimate fighting is still alive and well in uh... japan and the tokyo dome sells out nothing is huge was that okay don't like a hundred fifty thousand people can sit in that thing or yeah i know what you could see from a distance like this while they have screens but it's huge and i know couple dutch guys who were who are all timid fighters and make huge money going over there did say it's a real business if you'd like get your nuts

CHAPTER 04 / 20 Discussion

Iraq War, US Troop Withdrawal and Oil Field Rights

The hosts analyze the June 30th withdrawal of US troops from Iraqi cities, contrasting the media's focus with the simultaneous awarding of oil development rights. British Petroleum and China won the rights to develop the Rumalia oil field, a project Reuters estimates could yield $1.7 trillion in profit. They suggest the timing of the troop withdrawal was orchestrated to distract from the significant energy deals being finalized.

iraq· british petroleum· china· rumalia oil field· troop withdrawal· reuters

10:16 Anyway, so... Severely. Anyway that's kind of it So um Wow there is so much news John Yeah I know we got a lot emails this week like lots and you know if we can even get to half of it today its going to be a miracle Well first... I'm sorry go ahead what is your main news? You know the two things that I find interesting or the most interesting are they labeling requirements of the new greenhouse gas bill and the other one is of course we have a lot of interesting information about the swine flu vaccine including an insider's little input from an insider. There was some actual news yesterday which covered up the real news, I don't know if you even heard it but yesterday US troops withdrew from all Iraqi cities

11:10 Was that yesterday or the day before yesterday? That June 30th. The media decided not to cover it! The media reported it sometime yesterday, but of course it covered up the real news John which is that British Petroleum and China have won the right I love that one the right to develop Iraq's Rumalia oil field and that is the real news. I guess there was some kind of bidding, and this oil field according to Reuters may yield 1.7 trillion dollars in profit over the next 20 years. Amazing! So i guess it was about oil after all. You think? I set you up for that one. That would be actually a good sound clip...you think

12:05 so uh... that's my ringtone so the british chinese deal goes through and then we decide okay we can leave now i think it is probably orchestrated differently like why don't we make a big news report they were all gonna leave and on the same day will give these rights to bp in china well actually what if anything is is that neither one of those things came to the today to talk about this what's so amazing You know, because I heard this withdrawal. I had a cab driver yesterday who was the quintessential pissed off San Francisco guy. This guy could be on Cranky Geeks. Born and bred in San Francisco really disenchanted with everything he's like yeah you know our country we go and kill people! And then he starts mumbling about well now that we've withdrawn from all the cities in Iraq. Really? I didn't know that. This guys got his AM radio on.

13:01 Listen to all kinds of reports and I heard it from him. I didn't even hear it on the quote real news Yeah, well you know that your bright wingers are talking about it And there's a on all their talk shows and the thing that's interesting was There's a couple theories about why the main media didn't bring it up a couple of notches and like pretty tell pretty Spears do something No, it was like their uh... you know the mainstream media which is what mainstream MSM. They decided, you know in some... The New York Times of course is the leader of the cult. The paper or record yes of course. So they apparently decided that it was so embarrassing for Bush to stand in front of that mission accomplished sign That they didn't want to put Obama in a situation where it looked like he had done something that he's gonna be... You know that they're going have to backtrack on

CHAPTER 05 / 20 Discussion

White House Press Corps, Obama Town Hall Meeting Scripting

Adam Curry plays C-SPAN footage of a White House press briefing where reporters Helen Thomas and Chip Reid challenge Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. The reporters question the authenticity of President Obama's town hall meetings, alleging that the audiences are pre-selected and the questions are screened. Thomas specifically accuses the administration of controlling both the press and the public through pre-packaged engagements.

barack obama· robert gibbs· helen thomas· town hall· c-span· white house

13:57 Before we get to the labeling and the swine flu, and the swine flu will probably take up quite a majority of this show. Something happened yesterday which I got a clip from C-SPAN and this is about the town hall meetings that President Obama is doing. Yes, I saw one of them he's going from place to place to place with his pitch it's a sales pitch in the... Right! Now of course our problem with these town hall by the way I've got a lot of kind of boomy echoing here I apologize I gotta set something up differently It doesn't sound that bad Okay so what we've been harping on here on NOA Agenda

14:34 is that these town hall meetings are completely set up, the audience are all shills. The questions are all pre-produced and it's always about 13 questions which fits perfectly in an hour. It's not a town hall meeting there is no one standing up saying hey yo dude I got a different opinion here so yesterday uh... to reporters at a white house of press conference start really late into robert gibbs the uh... white house press secretary about exactly this and one of the two is helen thomas which of course you rarely hear her anymore all i think she's just been completely russi still sits up front but she's relegated to not speaking or whatever they threatened her with two-to-the head you know i don't know what they've done but you do really here anymore and i just want to play a little bit of robert gibbs m

15:22 I'll give you the name of the reporter in a second. At today's town hall meeting, questions coming in on YouTube and Twitter and such who decides what questions will be asked? I think a group over at New Media is shuffling through questions. If you go on our website you'll see some of those questions. And I think Chip at the end of the day... That's Chip do we know who Chip is? Yeah, I've seen him talk before. I can't remember his last name So he's gonna so first of all the answer or the new media group But this is a town hall meeting right and that's in it and they're supposed to be taking questions through email and Twitter

16:00 Yes, Twitter. Let's be really hip and take questions from Twitter because that is really cool! Have you noticed that Robert Gibbs has some kind of an abnormal problem? No, I have not. Because he is snorting too much coke probably. I can't seem to breathe. It's probably cause he has swine flu will be read to the president, obviously he'll take some questions from the audience there. I think it will be a representative sample of the issues in this debate that we're dealing with. The audience is all pre-selected right? Oh see now i like that you say and the audience is all pre-selected You can hear this okay John? Yeah!

16:38 Okay, no we usually just generally hand out tickets on a first-come first serve basis in this case that people were invited either by the White House or by the university If the University is feels very tightly controlled it feels I mean the concept of a town hall I think is to have an open public forum and this sounds like a very tightly controlled so finally there's someone saying we've been getting for all along but now he's out yahoo is that guy and him out well here he's in the hot seat next to helen thomas so you know it's fucked now alright listen listen this gets good though because gives really starts to be into mess up audience and was the questions why do it uh... my son how about we don't have a new you can ask me that question more based on what questions were asked rather than

17:28 uh... pre selecting your question uh... based on some of the last year he's such a douche bag but i think it was horrible. It gets better, it gets better. Why pre-select? Why not just open up to people and allow any questions to come in? Well I.. Chip if you get on your computer from your email address have you sent in your question? I don't think that would be inappropriate this is for the public. I'm sorry I am confused are you not a member of the public get you were going to a lot of questions from the press you have us in a prominent position over there and allow us to ask questions not do you have enough time to get into the notion of where you'd be sitting at the issue and then on listen all these other jibbering israelis will be made a funny yeah that's just a media that's today ago that's the media reporting on the real news let's talk about it i think what's in bedside well-off shouting right but if you could email

18:23 Will you put my question in there? I don't think so. Maybe, have you emailed it? This is a town hall! This is an open forum for the public to ask questions but its not really open. Based on what? Based on the information that your staff gave us about how the audience and questions are being selected The questions are being selected by people who email on Facebook or Twitter. I love that. Who email...this guy's so hip. Who email on Facebook and Twitter Hey Gibbs Hello 2009 calling dude. But again, will there be dissenting views? I think that's a very safe bet. Oh sure! Of course we'll have someone ask something really controversial. How about we do this...I promise We will interrupt the AP tradition of asking the first question. I'l let you ask me a question tomorrow as to whether you thought questions at the town hall meeting that the president conducted in Annandale

19:32 Okay, here comes Helen. Now she's really laying into it. yeah I was gonna say, i'll let you amend her question. Yeah. Okay, let's... I just want you to hear Helen and who by the way I predict now will have a heart attack any day. Even if there is tough question it's a question coming from somebody who was invited or has screamed or the question was screamed.

20:26 it's a very high-end and uh... let's have this discussion at the conclusion of the town hall meeting about that i don't know if you're going to help me out now what happened there in the past which was rejected listen to our meeting held it is important to have and controlling the press yes so he said any evidence currently going on but i'm controlled by the press orally abided All engagements are pre-packaged. How so? Well, and controlling the public. How so? By calling reporters the night before to tell them they're going to be called on? That is shocking! Anyway... So you can watch the entire YouTube video

21:07 The links will be in the show notes at noagenda.mevo.com or curry.com or dvorak.org and I'm so happy to see Helen Thomas speak up, it may not be really easy to hear but she's laying into a man and she's pointing at him, she got that bony finger and she's so right! Well she has been around forever so she would know what the patterns are, i guess she is fed-up Yeah, but she's been shown... But the rest of these people they apparently aren't not they're probably just pleased as punch to be in the room. Yeah exactly. No it's a pathetic group of people generally speaking. We can be near greatness we can be near greatness it's so wonderful

21:43 Well, you know the dam may be breaking. I mean a lot of people believe if you watch the TV pundits there's kind of a meme going around that the press is... they've dropped their gloves are off! Oh right yeah oh yeah the press is not really laying into them and I think they maybe premature on that because these guys aren't gonna put up with that crap so she's gonna beat to the problem is you know she's so visible this is like now they have a real issue because you know they're having a meeting, you've been in meetings yes. The meeting goes like this what are we going to do about this old battle axe? I'm saying... Oh man why don't we just move her to the back man just move her to the back where she belongs No no let's MJ her We can't move her to the back because everyone will notice that we moved it to a back you bonehead What else can we do? We're gonna give her an MJ

CHAPTER 07 / 20 Discussion

Hearing Protection, Silicon Valley Business Philosophy

John C. Dvorak shares an anecdote about the importance of ear protection in industrial and musical settings, noting that California bars are required to provide earplugs. He then recounts a conversation overheard on a San Francisco street where an individual claimed that being groundbreaking is "counterintuitive" when trying to make money. The hosts mock the statement as a meaningless Silicon Valley non-sequitur.

hearing loss· ear protection· san francisco· silicon valley· business quotes

26:00 set it up. Okay, so I'm walking down this little bit please. You know funny thing is they turned down already twice you're talking louder and louder as the show goes on you notice that? You always do that it's funny yeah uh so I walk down the street... It becomes harder of hearing as the show goes on what?! What! So I'm hard of hearing because the speakers are down to 10 anyway um So the by the way, I'm not hard of hearing for my if anybody by the way. I want to recommend people out there right now Wear ear protection when I was a kid and I worked in a sheet metal shop The first thing I was told was you had to take salt tablets and it and wear your protection What are the salt tablets for? Because you sweat a lot in these places And you have to take have a salt tablet no big sense like a horse A pickle would do the job You can just lick one of those horse things

26:52 That would work actually. Anyway, so ear protection I always wore ear protection because I worked in these various factories which of course no kid can do nowadays since we have none but and then I carried that through college to the era of various kinds of you know power trios and things like that. I always wore ear protection And I still do as a matter of fact. In California people don't realize it but every bar that has a band, has to have those little things you can shove in your ear behind the bar free for the customers. Now uh...I know people who are like heavy metal junkies and they're like in their thirtie's now and they cant hear anything! They shout when they speak because its like when you have headphones on you always talk too loud because you cant hear yourself.

27:42 What? And so I just tell everybody out there, wear ear protection. So now, I'm walking down the street and there's these two guys walking along and this is one of the weirdest non sequiturs that ever heard came out of one guys mouth and was just so baffled by it that I had to call Adam up because I didn't have a pen, couldn't write it down. I could've recorded but anyway... This is only something you would hear in San Francisco or anywhere near Silicon Valley and I am sure these guy were wearing dockers The quote is, when you're trying to make money it's almost counterintuitive to be groundbreaking. I love it! When you're trying to make money its almost counter intuitive to be ground breaking what does that mean? It has no meaning whatsoever!

CHAPTER 08 / 20 Discussion

Aviation Incidents, Electromagnetic Pulse Weaponry Theories

Adam Curry discusses recent Airbus crashes, including the Yemen crash and Air France Flight 447, under the theme of "airliner wars." He highlights a report from the sole survivor of the Yemen crash, Bahia Bakari, who claimed to feel an "electric shock" before the plane went down. Curry posits that electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons or other forms of electronic interference might be responsible for these aviation disasters.

airbus· yemen crash· flight 447· emp· bahia bakari· airliner wars

28:34 Hey, before I gotta hit you with some aviation news and i don't want to bore anyone. You already said yesterday well just don't bore anybody with your aviation news so of course... I'm only saying that because somebody said that to me yeah well enough for me enough about Mimi So here's here's or JJ Of course, I got a lot of feedback. A lot of Twitter's people saying hey Curry dude you were wrong or what's going on because after the most recent scare bus crash we're supposed to have a Boeing crash in the ongoing airliner wars which by the way on Twitter is hash airliner wars if you want to tag it and You started a meme yes and so Yemen the Yemen crash was also an Airbus

29:21 Now, I do want to point out that in between these two incidents and that's what we call them in aviation an incident or a day wrecker. Bad day! Boeing of course had to delay the launch of their Dreamliner 787 which was probably because some form sabotage now you'll recall that we discussed specifically regarding flight 447. This is the one that was on its way from Brazil to Paris, there was a Reuters report about it was a Mexican airline? That these pilots saw white flash at the exact moment all contacts were lost with

30:02 with this Air France airbus and of course I'm calling for more the airliner wars may be another test from outer space. And that it was nuked, there's these electromagnetic pulse weapons that are being used everywhere now a Dutch report, a real Dutch news report apparently there was one girl 13-year old girl who survived this Yemen crash and she said Just before the plane crashed there was a huge electric shock inside the aircraft So I'm really yes, and I can translate it on the fly The girl of the only survivor of the crash on Tuesday

30:56 Her name is Bahia Bakari, says that just before the plane went down she felt a quote electric shock and then when she opened her eyes she was in the ocean in the dark and she hung on to a piece of wreckage. And as she was fished out of the sea... The French authorities by the way believe there may be another a child who survived this crash was probably picked up by one of the many aircraft. What would the French authorities have anything to do with it? Because it's an airbus and it was on its way to France, are you kidding me there were French people on board! It was landing on that island that crazy island. It was going the other way around you know what I mean There were French people onboard that's why the French are involved And by the way isn't coincidental that both Airbus scare bus crashes involve french people

CHAPTER 09 / 20 Discussion

Smart Grid Infrastructure, EMP Attack Vulnerabilities

The discussion explores the vulnerability of the US power grid to EMP attacks, citing an article about Chicago being a potential target. Curry argues that the push for a "smart grid" is actually a defensive measure against EMP weaponry, which can permanently damage commercial computers and power lines. They discuss the ease of creating such weapons and their alleged use in previous conflicts like the Iraq War.

emp· smart grid· north korea· chicago· infrastructure· power lines

31:45 French destinations or departure points and EADS I believe is partially French, is it not? Yeah yeah they are. So there's something to this electromagnetic pulse weaponry and there was another article that I believe you were copied on John. I'm gonna pull this up written by...this from Midwest Business News dot com I'm sorry, Midwestbusiness.com written by Carlini? Do you know this guy, Carlini? No, I don't know Carl... well no

32:26 Well, he has this whole article which I'm not going to read for you obviously but you do need to take a look at it in the show notes and this is...I'll just read a bit of it. Chicago North Korea doesn't have anything that could reach the US or do they? The threat of nuclear bombs as such a remote possibility today that no one really thinks about these days Is it really true perhaps you should rethink that threat when you see how many bombs could potentially come to your city And it turns out that Chicago is actually a prime target for, I guess he's a local Chicago writer. And here it is there are people on the conservative side saying the conservative side, I guess would be me we better take heed of

33:06 of an attack of EMP, electromagnetic pulse weapons. These damaged power lines, supervisory control and data acquisition control systems and commercial computers that would very likely be permanent due to fused power lines and lost data." and as a whole news well but that he has this whole article about how easy it is to what i've told you these you can look up on the internet one of my house in a way when we attacked iraq we use these weapons really isn't weaponist comment to the u.s military right hand and as they're not hard to make me you could there's there's instructions on the internet i'm not telling you do that But there's instructions on the internet how to make one of these, but now it makes total sense why so many trillions of dollars are being poured into the quote upgrading up the grid.

33:52 Right? That's possible. That is why the smart grid has to come into play because it has to be protected against an EMP weapon. Nobody wants to talk about that. No, of course not! It is scary. There is no other reason for the smart grid as we have discussed before. By the way somebody says that this stream is extremely loud and I probably had to turn my sound down uh... it's a um... i think about what will happen tomorrow putting regular really complaining about in terms of this quality some of the concert well then turn your volume down people who are complaining turned out here since then and now he sees doing its everybody after and in fact i'm ten db louder tend to be slower than john so you can hear me better

CHAPTER 10 / 20 Discussion

Personal Data Protection, Mesh Networking Solutions

John C. Dvorak discusses his plans to consult with engineers at Falcon Electric regarding high-end UPS devices to protect computers from power surges. The hosts debate whether a personal mesh network could maintain connectivity if the broader internet infrastructure were disabled by an EMP. They express skepticism regarding the actual threat posed by North Korea, labeling it a "bogeyman" tactic.

ups· falcon electric· mesh network· internet security· data protection

34:33 Yeah, that's what that's what Leo likes to do. Mm-hmm So just cuz he's not in the country you say that you pussy no He's actually still here, but I don't think he's listening to us although he does listen to the show. I caught him Oh really? Yeah busted But anyway, so yeah that would make sense because I'm going to talk to my...I've got some engineer at Falcon Electric the guys who make the UPS devices and they make a certain type of very high end type. And I am going to ask them about what kind of device would we need? This is just a personal thing, to protect our computers

35:11 If there was an EMP pulse that was like blast, you know pumped in front of the internet. But John even if we get something to protect the computers the Internet will be down I mean lines will be fried everywhere. Yeah no but it's like they could do some writing in the dark Well, I'm always hopeful that as long as we could protect our computers and our Wi-Fi cards We could create some form of wet mesh network and could still kind of function. I'm pretty sure you probably Yeah, you can probably mesh your way to some connection that was hooked in the net It's not going to be obviously taking out the whole NAT, you're taking out areas Right But yeah That's interesting And i'll just add on to that By the way North Korea is not doing anything Give me a break Yeah, I don't think so either

35:55 I don't think so. I will just add to that... You're a bogeyman! He's a bogeyman! ...I will just add to the EMP that I am convinced that EMP weaponry were used on 9-11 Yeah, that's what you like to think. It is possible but the point is there is an EMP we do use it and they talked about they don't talk about in lot of detail but when we attacked Iraq I think even during their first war with Kuwait We send these EMP weapons out which are sent out near all the radar installations And blows them out right? Yes just blow them up just fuses some so they don't work anymore You don't have to hit him

CHAPTER 11 / 20 Discussion

Swine Flu, Forced Vaccination Concerns and Overpopulation

The hosts discuss the potential for mandatory swine flu vaccinations and link it to broader theories about overpopulation and government control. They touch on the financial situation in the Netherlands, mentioning Minister of Finance Wouter Bos and the multi-trillion euro bailouts of Fortis and ABN Amro. Curry also briefly mentions his personal domestic issues and divorce as a "microcosm" of larger societal shifts.

swine flu· h1n1· forced vaccination· overpopulation· abn amro· netherlands

36:34 I don't know what they did if they did it over the city or not. Because, I mean...I know they had a lot of trouble in the second Iraq war to get their power back to people took weeks so maybe there was something going on there but that of course is not uh...not the biggest of our problems the real problem is A clear prospect of forced vaccinations coming down the pipeline for this bullshit swine flu and, of course, the vaccinations in combination with eating... ...of ingesting genetically modified potatoes i.e., french fries from places like McDonald's that is truly going to kill most of us

37:13 And I was talking to Mickey about this last night. This crazy theory, by the way this theory does not yet have the stamp of full approval No no but it's got half a stamp and she said something very interesting She said so if the biggest problem on earth is overpopulation So i guess its not really bad if we kill a whole bunch of them right? Yeah, let's not eat any french fries. Oh yeah there is the Dutch in her. Totally! She meant so well. The Dutch are basically that way. The Dutch are getting screwed. At first the Minister of Finance Wouter Bos

38:05 Who is this guy you just want to slap the guy when you see him he's like all the credit crunch it It's going to pass our country. No problem boom right bailout of Fortis boom bail out of a BN amro I think it was three or four trillion euros, and then it was like okay We're all done we're all safe. We're all good now boom another two trillion euros just yesterday lent to ABN Amaro It's people are going, huh? Huh. What's that meanwhile in real news Adam Curry Patricia still divorced Yeah, it's a microcosm dude it's a microcosm what happens if fractal thank you It's exactly what it is and you happen to be part of it now because of your Your well I like the your your your iron with the word is domestic issues

38:52 Or whatever. There's a really good word that I can't come up with I'll come up with it for the next show. So anyway, so the swine flu stories are all over the place and one that really got my attention this morning somebody sent in...I don't have in front of me so I can't credit him but I'll actually blog it and credit him there. I might have it The 600 million doses of swine flu are needed for the US That's exactly what they're doing in every other country two for each individual 300 million people 2 doses forced vaccinations coming your way It's ridiculous. They're not gonna pull it, they're not gonna get away with it Well do you mind if I play you a little piece of video from... this is an official speaking

CHAPTER 12 / 20 Discussion

Barbara Loe Fisher, National Vaccine Information Center

Adam Curry plays a commentary from Barbara Loe Fisher of the National Vaccine Information Center regarding the H1N1 "novel" swine flu. Fisher warns that the CDC and FDA are using emergency powers granted after 9/11 to fast-track experimental vaccines without thorough testing. The segment highlights the $1 billion allocated to drug companies to produce vaccines that may contain genetically engineered viruses and reactive adjuvants.

barbara loe fisher· nvic· fda· swine flu vaccine· experimental drugs

39:40 on behalf, let me just get her name and then I'll fast forward to the relevant bit because she actually explains how the forced vaccinations will take place. What rights the US government already has as of today to enter your home, to quarantine you and give you a forced vaccination? Are you interested John in hearing how that works? I'd rather talk about Britney Spears. Hold on, play it. This is Barbara Lowe Fisher president National Vaccine Information Center which i've never heard of before My name is Barbara Lowe Fisher and this is a vaccine commentary brought to you by the National Vaccine Information Center Could you just look that up John while im playing this? National Vaccine Center what was it again?

40:23 Let me get it again. My name is Barbara Lowe Fisher and this is a vaccine commentary brought to you by the National Vaccine Information Center. The National Vaccine Information Center, got it! This was from June 17th I'm just going to give you a little bit of the intro then I'll fast forward to the good bits Today I want to talk about swine flu Hi kids, today I want to talk about swine flu. Bonjour Lene! Bonjour Monsieur le Professeur! Today we're being warned by doctors at the World Health Organization and the US Centers for Disease Control to worry a lot about the new influenza A virus. God she does that so well, Worry ALOT as she emphasizes that. It was first identified in Mexico in April 2009 and is being called the new Swine Flu. Its the New Swine Flu by the way because Swine Flu already existed

41:10 many years ago. Yeah, they gotta keep renaming it! It's called the novel swine flu, I think is what they call it. Which kind of cracked me up. Yeah, novel indeed! The World Health Organization says that 76 countries have reported more than 35 thousand cases... Alright so first she goes through a whole bunch of stats and she talks about all this scary stuff and how many people have died etc., but then she gets into the real meat of this stuff Is there signs people born before 1957 may be naturally protected? John you're safe and at lower risk of being infected. Why? Because they're cranky cocks. They'll bitch and moan, and won't take their vaccines that's why. Caused by similar influenza strains that circulated... Now caused by calls from US health officials to give American children the first dose... Okay okay here it comes. ...have been insisting for the past few years that every child from 6 months to age 18 must get an annual flu shot

42:11 Second, there are now calls by U.S health officials to give American children the first doses of experimental swine flu vaccines in the school setting In the school setting? Okay I just want you pay attention what she is saying here So experimental flu vaccine in the school setting which means if your kid doesn't have a vaccination no soup for you This is because the response by doctors at the World Health Organization who immediately went into high gear within days of identifying the new swine flu virus emerging out of Mexico declared a public health emergency. Now they have raised the pandemic flu fear alert to phase 6, which is equivalent to U.S. Homeland Security's code red warning of an imminent disaster.

43:02 This is the equivalent of a code red. Code Red! We have terrorists, code red! Doctors at the CDC who followed the lead of the World Health Organization have done the same and are exercising unprecedented power that Congress handed over to them after September 11th 2001 Whenever the CDC now declares a public health emergency, that declaration allows the Food and Drug Administration to permit emergency use authorization for drug companies to fast track creation of experimental drugs and vaccines. Okay hold on a second so first of all The Food and Drug Administration we know who has a brand new director Peggy is her nickname she's the one who immediately discredited Zycam

43:49 and uh... and basically bankrupted that company which is kind of an organic type of thing that doesn't work as far as i'm concerned john swears by it so the food and drug administration now has unprecedented power to not only fast-track vaccinations being made but listen what else they can do with a setbacks Go ahead. It said fast-track experimental drugs. Listen, listen to what... I'm going to rewind it a little bit this will freak you out. Food and Drug Administration to permit emergency use authorization for drug companies to fast track creation of experimental drugs and vaccines that do not have to be tested

44:28 as thoroughly as vaccines that go through the normal FDA licensing process. Which is already so incredibly good, like Gardasil which is killing young girls In this case, Congress responded to the Public Health Emergency Declaration by giving a group of drug companies $1 billion dollars. One billion dollars! Fast-track experimental swine flu vaccines that may include whole live or killed or genetically engineered human and animal viruses. Whoa! Genetically engineered whole... What did she say? Genetically engineered human and animal viruses that may include whole live or killed genetically engineered human animal viruses, chemicals and potentially reactive oral based adjuvants that manipulate the immune system to boost the vaccine's potency. Whoa! So this is a governmental directive And I know exactly which one it is by the way but I'll tell you in a second

CHAPTER 13 / 20 Discussion

Massachusetts Pandemic Legislation, Civil Liberty Infringements

The discussion focuses on pandemic legislation in Massachusetts that reportedly allows state officials to enter homes without consent for quarantine and vaccination purposes. The hosts criticize the bill for potentially banning free assembly and allowing healthcare providers to force vaccinations. They also examine the NVIC website, questioning its motives and the data it collects from citizens who oppose vaccines.

massachusetts· quarantine· civil liberties· forced vaccination· nvic.org

45:30 So that's just for the drug companies. Now, how about the authorities? How about the federales? Could you please tell us some more? People who already have sensitive immune systems such as those with allergy and autoimmune disorders may be at special risk Allergy so that is why Zykam had to get kicked out In some states like Massachusetts Public health doctors have persuaded legislators to pass pandemic influenza legislation that will allow state officials to enter homes and businesses without the consent of occupants, to investigate and quarantine individuals without their consent. To require licensed healthcare providers to give citizens vaccines. There you go!

46:11 There you go. Forced vaccination, they will bust your door down, quarantine you put a big X on the door and give you a shot Make a clip of that part where they can bust into your house Let's just hear it again so people can make their own clip. Here it comes. Vaccines that may include whole live or killed or genetically engineered human and animal viruses, chemicals and potentially reactive oral based adjuvants... What are reactive oral-based adjuvants? I have no idea! I think we should look that up because I bet you that's the key right there. Oral-based adjuvants, I'll give you some oral adjuvant baby. Manipulate the immune system to boost the vaccine potency. Manipulate the immune system? Whoa! People who already have sensitive immune systems such as those with allergy and autoimmune disorders may be at special risk

47:03 In some states, like Massachusetts, public health doctors have persuaded legislators to pass pandemic influenza legislation that will allow state officials to enter homes and businesses without the consent of occupants. To investigate and quarantine individuals without their consent. To require licensed healthcare providers to give citizens vaccines And ban the free assembly of citizens in a state Whoa! I missed that the first time. I didn't play it the first time, i was holding back and wanted to give you a little cherry on top. Ban? What was that ban for the assembly of people? Free Assembly. So this is so unconstitutional where's the media covering this? America uber all us!

47:51 this is that we are the media john we are the only way you are not a guy covering this particular story it's ridiculous and only has fifty thousand less than we can say all of us ban all assembly yeah here comes one again because she saying that and she doesn't even have a huge rack to distract me to give citizens vaccines and abandon free assembly of citizens in the state This is in Massachusetts. Yeah, the people in Massachusetts were marquee by the way It's part of that stupid bill that Waxman wrote you people in Massachusetts have got your heads up your ass to have these people Pushing you around like this Yes, it uses the fact that this would even happen in Massachusetts and there's gonna be obviously the countrywide is unbelievable now I sent you a link from the National Vaccine Information Center which is a

48:40 which is the, and you should put it in the show notes. Which is the vaccine harassment reporting form? It's a questionnaire let's see... The personal identifiable information collecting this questionnaire will be kept confidential Yeah that's why they want your photo! Please provide the following contact information first name last name street address views on vaccines so what is the point of this If you would like to... To see if you're against it so they can isolate you and come over and bust into your house and give you a shot. I have no idea, it's the stupidest thing ever this whole thing is... Listen please describe what happened in your own words in the box below if you want what you described in the box below to be publicly posted on the cry for vaccine freedom wall on our website please check yes oh my god

49:29 Oh my god. Hey, botnet dudes I know you're listening take this shit down nvic.org immediately take this one down it's got to go down must go down You want to hear more of this woman? Yeah yeah she says she's better than a good comedian It is of course important for pandemic influenza vaccines to be developed, for voluntary use by citizens.

CHAPTER 14 / 20 Discussion

Presidential Directive 51, Homeland Security Disease Protocols

The hosts discuss Presidential Directive 51 (PD 51) and its implications for national security during a disease outbreak. They highlight claims that the Department of Defense may define public demonstrations as "low-level terrorism" and that airports could be designated as quarantine centers. They characterize these developments as a move toward a "1984" style of governance where civil rights are suspended during emergencies.

pd 51· homeland security· quarantine centers· low level terrorism· martial law

50:12 But what does this declaration of a public health emergency in the U.S mean for you and your family? Well, you're going to die! That's what it means. By the way, a lot of this is under PD 51 which a lot of people talk about presidential directive 51 of which some parts are actually confidential kept top secret uh... so this could this will be a national is not just massachusetts that's just a trial balloon to see if anyone now yes yes people of massachusetts have any balls whatsoever and i would say therefore exactly it means that right now you need to become educated about vaccination influenza vaccine risks

50:49 and the public health laws in your state. Oh, I'm interested! Tell me more You need to find out what your rights and options are under new public health laws that may require you and your children get vaccinated or be quarantined Go to www.nvic.org That's the one you just mentioned Oh my god! They're like, hey if you're really worried about it go to this website tell us who you are so we can pick you out first and put you in the containment areas known as the FEMA camps. Learn more. Register now to attend the fourth international public conference on vaccination October 2 through 4 this fall in Washington DC Yeah let's not go there

51:30 so they can sprinkle RFID dust on you and track your ass. And help organizing your state to protect your right to make voluntary vaccination choices. You know John, a year ago- Wait wait wait back that up and let it play! Alright I'm sorry. This fall in Washington DC and help organizing your state to protect your right to make voluntary vaccination choices call our legislative Where's the, for your right to make voluntary vaccination choices that kind of counters everything she said before where they're going to force you have the vaccine. No that's not the whole point John don't understand how it works so we're supposed to scare you and then hey you know before you get forced to do this you might as well go ahead and just get your vaccine now. And convince yourself that its what you really need? Yes yes thats what its about. You elected to make public health laws that govern you in your family make your voice heard

52:24 As Department of Homeland Security officials are declaring that any disease outbreak is a matter of homeland security. This agency's a nightmare! Did you find out what this is by the way? What this vaccine information center is? well that's it is not a non-profit organization and he's the i see dot org i can have not figured out looking at who was paying for somebody obviously and that's another don't know yet they just had to take maybe somebody out there could do a little research we get to start with the uh... who is search and see runs the thing in terms of the you know probably covered up by some you know what are these that we got about thirty seconds left on the clip let's see if there's any jams in here demonstrations as quote low level terrorism

53:09 What, hold on a second. What is low-level terrorism? Demonstrating. Homeland Security officials are declaring that any disease outbreak is a matter of homeland security as Department of Defense officials are defining public demonstrations as quote low level terrorism As plans are being made to designate selected US airports as quarantine centers through which all airplanes would be rerouted for passenger health inspection and as fast-tracked experimental pandemic flu vaccines are being created to be given first to American children in schools. It is time for all of us, whether we are public health doctors addressing what we believe to be a true public health emergency or whether we are ordinary citizens simply trying to protect our health and the health of our children it is up to all of us... This sounds like a 1984 speech from a movie! Duck and cover

54:06 This is unbelievable. Yeah, this is the ministry of truth! And of course nobody's covering it? No, of course not... Why bother? They're not even trying to hide any of their intentions It's just like well apparently nobody really cares what we do so let's just tell them what we're gonna do and see what happens This is the old Green Bay Packers approach show them what you're gonna do and then DO IT Let's take a look at her bio Where she works. What's her name? Barbara Lowe Fisher, so she comes across as someone who is against all of this but I'm not buying it. She's like a stooge for something! Well she has written vaccines autism and chronic inflammation from safety last to children first yeah i'm very worried about people like this

CHAPTER 15 / 20 Discussion

H3N8 Dog Flu, USDA Vaccine Approval

A brief report covers the H3N8 dog flu, a virus that reportedly jumped from horses to dogs. The hosts note that the USDA recently approved the first vaccine for this strain. They jokingly suggest that the focus on dog flu might be a way to target pets that would otherwise protect owners from authorities entering their homes.

h3n8· dog flu· usda· vaccine· horses· virus

55:07 I wonder if it's the same person that does this food blog, I don't think so. Anyway... We'll look into it! As best we can but what is there to say other than what she said? Chris Hallman one of our producers did send me another interesting article from The New York Times of course the paper record And I'll just read you the opening paragraph, of course the link will be in the show notes. There's a new flu virus going around it initially looked quite lethal and caused panic now it is clear that has killed relatively few victims and many of those have underlying conditions It is particularly dangerous to be the possessor of a pushed-in nose That is to be a Pekingese, a pug or Shih Tzu. It is the H3N8 dog flu

55:55 Oh yeah, the dog flu. The virus scientists believe jumped from horses to dogs at least five years ago but has never infected a human... Yet! Yeah last week United States Department of Agriculture announced it had approved the first vaccine for it so let's get rid of all the dogs while we're at it. Yeah because the dogs will keep those guys from busting into your house Exactly Are you sending me links I have to look at? Oh yeah, you can look them in your subscription. I don't want to read that one. That'll get me two to the head for sure Arkansas State Health Department says mandatory vaccinations are constitutional Would you care to hear the call that was made by a Wait wait wait who is this

CHAPTER 16 / 20 Discussion

Arkansas Health Department, Mandatory Vaccination Legality

Adam Curry plays a recorded phone call between a citizen and legal counsel at the Arkansas State Health Department. In the call, the official asserts that mandatory vaccinations are constitutional and have been upheld by the Supreme Court for over a hundred years. The hosts encourage their audience to conduct similar research and record their interactions with government officials regarding vaccine mandates.

arkansas· mandatory vaccination· supreme court· legal counsel· constitutional law

56:38 Arkansas State Health Department says mandatory, this is a phone call on the 17th of June to legal counsel at the Arkansas State Health Department. It's about two or three minutes long if you're interested. Hold on a second it's loading its one of those embedded video things that takes forever to freaking load someone was very smart and its almost like a prank call when you hear the answers that the fact that i think all of us and we shall be making everybody had this are recording your conversations with all these people's party calling them up and ask him stupid questions is doing get out of it really have to let me reload this should they shoot me if I don't take a shot yes i'm afraid they will its constitutional we allowed to shoot people what won't take the shots it is in his own under pb fifty one it is completely constitutional because you know the president

57:33 Bush did all this. He gave himself these huge powers, okay it's loading here we go come on What is this blip TV or something? Why does it take so long crap? So what else we get what else well that's loading once you will get back to that. What else do we have We have a guy who's working on showing at the D. Or there are dear well the taxation thing oh No, the guy who sent us the insider information about how they're... where the food is being manufactured and they're making a box. It's a company that's making boxes and how many they are making by millions. This is going ahead as scheduled Do you have the email? I think I have it somewhere He's gonna send us some photos of this stuff beforehand so when we get more data in we'll probably talk about it more on Sunday if were still here

58:25 yeah and and again if you read in the real news adam curry john c dvorak apparently shoot each other it with two dash over some few did really angry at each other uh... over a paper that arrest ron no psychopaths this was you know what well this is expected says so-and-so I can tell you i can just see people doing interviews like well you know Adam was kind of weird you know and John was a weirdo yeah John was clearly uh... you know stuck in his sub personality he couldn't get out of here they didn't call him the cranky geek for nothing to me hey go figure right? You know, of course these guys would go and shoot each other in the head

59:10 So by the way, we do appreciate not hearing this kind of stuff. We would appreciate some assistance insofar as we are publicly supported. need to pay from overhead among other things and we would like some donations. Dvorak dot org slash NA, we have a bunch of different programs available and I think the noagendalibrary dot com still has the same page up. And so if you can give... We'll have a list of people who are the fifteen hundred dollar donors on Sunday and we have a few and we would appreciate more if you can help us continue doing this kind of programming because you're not going to get

CHAPTER 17 / 20 Discussion

Gordon Ramsay, Kitchen Nightmares Financial Decline

The hosts briefly discuss the financial troubles of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, noting an 87% drop in profits for his business. They attribute his decline to personal scandals and mismanagement involving his father-in-law. This serves as a transition to discuss why the No Agenda show remains listener-supported rather than relying on corporate sponsors.

gordon ramsay· kitchen nightmares· profits· scandal· business

59:54 You're not getting this on all things considered. You're not getting this anywhere, I mean you're definitely not going to get it in the newspapers because they are part of whatever is going on. Part of the system? But its just like good information and its entertaining! In some funny way... Hold on John yes! And now back to real news. And of course this stuff you get in mainstream media Gordon Ramsey's kitchen nightmare just got worse as profits fall by 87% But talk about a guy who is targeted. Oh, dude... This is by the way one of the reasons you want to be publicly supported by people who are fellow travelers insofar as they want to hear the truth That's why we do this and don't have sponsors I mean Ramsey essentially put himself into a situation

1:00:43 by running all you know by by putting his father-in-law in charge of everything and then stinted screwing over this father-in-law's daughter by having an affair with somebody else in the dead it right as that happens to issues that news got out all hell broke loose g one how that happens I think that the phone call has been jacked or hacked or something. It's not loading at all anymore, so... Okay well we can play it on Sunday? We got more stuff to talk about this whole thing. There was from a concerned pilot there is something going on in aviation and this link will also be in the show notes at noagenda.mevo.com

CHAPTER 18 / 20 Discussion

Technical Difficulties, Edge Technology and Router Failures

During a discussion about private aviation rules, the podcast experiences technical interruptions. John C. Dvorak explains that "edge technology" used by streaming sites can sometimes send protocols that cause consumer routers to crash. He compares the phenomenon to a "silver bullet" attack where the router becomes overwhelmed by unrecognized data packets from content delivery networks like Akamai.

akamai· edge technology· router· streaming· technical issues

1:01:26 For private aviation in the United States, which is pretty much you know there's only half a million private pilots It's not a huge group of people and of course we view our aircraft kind of like RVs right? You know you get in your airplane. You fly somewhere And then you do whatever you want to do so now the The rules are changing Just a hair John on the speakers I'm really getting some slap back here the rules are changing where everything is loading weird now you know what they're on to me if all of a sudden the connection breaks run over here and get this recording oh no John okay yeah we're back Wow wow there's so long I also that everything is gone and my router is going down like okay I think we got a little too close to the truth there Johnny boy

1:02:20 Well, your last comment that I heard was the rules are changing regarding... By the way. I think when we get interrupted like that particular interruption, I'm absolutely convinced as part of it when you tried downloading that clip? Yeah You got sent to one of those edge technology sites that can't deliver and it talks to the router and sends bad information It kills the router This is what.. Really?! I've been trying this in print I'll try again just see if No no don't try until we finish this show Are we on the air at all? We may be finished regardless, John. Like for real finished you and I finished done over and out. No, that's what it was. So tell me about this so there is an edge type thing that... What are saying here? Most of these most streaming technologies out there use one form of edge technology or another to keep which is not appropriate necessarily for streams because what happens

1:03:11 happens is the, it's like Akamai for example has a you know when you're talking to one of the sites that are using Akamai say this is mostly for foreign users. You get to talk to the edge of the internet rather than to the site itself and then and it seems to give you better response time and people stay on the site longer all these other things. The problem is that some of these technologies and there's lots of them are using newer protocols that aren't recognized necessarily by some routers. And so your router gets one of these things to say, well yeah I want you to do... Bullets! A silver bullet Yes, it says okay. Give me the give me there What do you think here's your hearsay? Here's a beers attack You send me this act, you know to this and then it will be on our way and the router says I don't know what you're talking about And then oops, I just got a freak out well here. I have that call I have that all loaded locks to router out and in the next thing if you don't rent It just screws you over its unbelievable. We'll do the aviation stuff on Sunday I just want to play this call because it's it's just so outrageously cool

CHAPTER 20 / 20 Discussion

Mevio Production Tools, Show Outro and Donation Request

Adam Curry and John C. Dvorak conclude the episode by promoting the production tools available through Mevio. They reiterate that the show is entirely listener-supported and request donations via dvorak.org/na to cover overhead costs. They sign off from their respective locations in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, promising a follow-up episode on Sunday.

mevio· donations· listener supported· podcasting· san francisco

1:11:11 So if you want to hear more of that, I'll list it in the show notes. Yeah you can listen to the whole thing And i would like to say uh...I was asked we pretty much so of course this show brings no money in the kitty for MeVeo both of us work for meveo and i did wanna say that if you wanna become a producer and not only create great programming like No Agenda or shit! If you want talk about knitting We've got some pretty cool tools and you can make actual money. Ain't that true, John? Yeah you can and by the way we do use the Mevio services to do this show although they benefit from our numbers but luckily Adam's the president so he can do anything we want But we still need your donations to keep us alive literally at devorek.org

1:12:07 Coming to you from an undisclosed loft location on the Inca net that sometimes works if we're talking about things that aren't evil I'm Adam curry the ink runnet increment. I am in northern Silicon Valley I'm John C Dvorak and we will talk to again this coming Sunday not quite sure what time because I'll be in transit, but we'll work something out for sure And you can hear more of this right here on no agenda so
