About this episode

The White House issued a sweeping executive order targeting Huawei and the Chinese telecommunications supply chain, effectively blacklisting the firm from American technology. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross now holds the authority to block transactions involving foreign adversaries, while the Department of Homeland Security simultaneously warned that DJI drones may be transmitting sensitive flight data back to China. These maneuvers signal a shift toward an Anything But China manufacturing strategy as CFO Meng Wanzhou remains under house arrest in Vancouver.

In Europe, Duncan Laurence secured a Eurovision victory for the Netherlands with the song Arcade, while Nigel Farage and the Brexit Party surged in the polls ahead of the European Commission Spitzenkandidat selection. Domestically, attorney Michael Avenatti faces federal indictments for allegedly defrauding Stormy Daniels, and Representative Adam Schiff is pressuring Google and Facebook to censor vaccine misinformation. Meanwhile, a leaked OPCW document suggests the 2018 Douma chemical attack in Syria may have been staged, contradicting previous reports from the organization and mainstream media outlets.

Adam Curry details his Austin wedding to Tina Mudford, featuring a processional to Bill Withers and a late-arrival anecdote involving John C. Dvorak and a Toyota 4Runner. The ceremony proceeded with a last-minute officiant found online after Gene Socrates faced a family emergency. Between critiques of dry wedding salads and the passing of internet celebrity Grumpy Cat, the hosts celebrate a new wave of knights including Sir Jobin and Sir Hocus Locus.

CHAPTER 29 / 39 Discussion

CDC and FDA Financial Ties to Big Pharma

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claims the FDA receives 75% of its budget from the pharmaceutical industry and that the CDC functions as a vaccine distributor. He alleges that high-level officials within HHS collect up to $150,000 a year in royalties from patents on vaccines like Gardasil. The hosts characterize these regulatory bodies as "appendages to the industry."

cdc· fda· big pharma· royalties· gardasil

2:23:03 And that's the kind of thing that's promoted by Angelina Jolie. Yeah, she's the one who came up with that idea promoted she had the clinic that would redo your breasts all beautiful too it was like a package deal don't die get great boobs damn it another exit strategy missed so that was uh the kind of thing and you're right DNA is going to be in the next batch of ways to scan this basically just besides killing the public with this crap products Which again, like I said they found the live virus in many of these things and too bad! Oh good you got the live virus. That's one way to get it. One other data point here just the last one i got even though we kind of know what he expands on how people who work at CDC and FDA are in on the game In fact he calls these organizations part of the big pharma industry

2:24:00 The FDA, which is supposed to protect us against these products receives 75% of its budget from the industry. The World Health Organization receives 50 percent of its budget from pharma The CDC is a pharmaceutical company. It had about $5 billion dollars a year in sales and buys in vaccines. Individuals within HHS who worked on those vaccines at taxpayer expense, if they worked on them they're allowed to get royalty payments on the vaccine as they work for it so every vial of Gardasil that's sold

2:24:46 There are people within HHS, high level individuals who are collecting $150,000 a year in royalties and HHS NIH owns part of that patent. And it is collecting money every year. So these are not regulatory agencies. These are appendages to the industry." Yep! Aaaaaand you can call me an anti-vaxxer if you want but I'm just looking out for your kids too Now I'm a semi-vaxxer. Well, I'll tell you this Kennedy guy is staying on it. Well and bless his heart, bless him! I pray for his safety there's not a good track record in the family. Speaking truth to power then all of a sudden some bad crap happens to him

2:25:38 So the one thing we could do, if we're looking for something to do is call for a ban of advertising pharmaceuticals. Advertising! Just call for a ban on advertising to consumers so that consumer media is not controlled by huge swathes of money or you know and Adam Schiff? Vote that guy out That guy and I consider what he did not only Well first unscrupulous, but that is You talk about deep platforming and censorship. That is actual censorship the government telling companies to Remove content is censorship And I'm sure he held something over their head oh yeah We can make some rules about you guys so you probably and why? I haven't looked it up But have a pretty good guess that Schiff gets some

2:26:38 get some payments from the, you know not these guys don't put it in their own pocket but so he gets a couple million he can be on committees and you know as for his reelection campaign. Yeah you got to pay to be on the committee So if he really did that and I'll take Kennedy at his word Schiff is lower than whale shit He is a horrible individual Well, I think we've over the years. We've come to that conclusion without that clip What about shift? Yeah, he's a terrible guy yeah But this is actually something that is a real problem That's you know censorship to that degree
